Arrival and Departure

We provide transportation for those out of town students coming by plane to Hartford Bradley International Airport (BDL), Tweed Airport New Haven, or Providence T.F. Green, train or bus to Hartford, CT or New Haven, CT on arrival and departure days, with greeters assigned to check-in each arriving participant. We cannot guarantee transportation for any other airports besides Hartford and New Haven.

 

Arrival Weekend

Sunday, July 30, 2017 - Arrival Day. Out of town Dancers arrive and settle into their host homes. 

Monday, August 3, 2017 - Check in: 9:00am. Orientation: 9:30am. Classes begin at 10:00am!

Preferred Arrival Time if driving: 10am - 4pm / Preferred Arrival Time if flying:  12pm - 4pm.

*Departing on Sunday, August 6:

Preferred Departure Time if driving: 8am - 10am / Preferred Departure Time if flying: 1pm - 6pm

 
 
Transportation

It is recommended that out of town participants choose to fly into either Hartford Connecticut’s Bradley International Airport or Tweed New Haven Regional Airport, or Rhode Island's T.F. Green Airport.

Air Service

Tweed New Haven Regional Airport, New Haven, (HVN), served by US Airways to Philadelphia, with connecting service to domestic and international destinations.  I-95, exit 50.  203-466-8833, www.flytweed.com

Rail Service

Amtrak, Union Station, New Haven.  Amtrak provides Northeast Corridor and Vermonter service at New Haven, with connecting services at New York Penn Station and Boston South Station, and all other Amtrak destinations.  Acela and Regional service available. 800-USA-RAIL, www.amtrak.com
